Does Alyssa do custom artwork?
Absolutely! Alyssa loves to work directly with customers to create the exact piece that they want. If you do not see exactly what you are looking for on this site, simply click on the “Contact” page and send Alyssa an email describing what you would like. She will respond and ask you several questions regarding your custom painting. After gathering all of the needed information, your painting should be ready for delivery between 3 and 6 weeks (sometimes sooner)! Alyssa works with all sizes, all colors and all budgets!
Does Alyssa offer art lessons?
Yes! Alyssa will travel to you (up to 50 miles) to provide weekly art lessons. She works with all ages and will design a custom schedule to fit each individuals goals. Some lessons that she has provided in the past include: drawing, watercolor, acrylic and cartoons. Art lessons are $100/hr plus the cost of materials. Alyssa also offers virtual art lessons via Zoom at a rate of $75/hr.
What other types of art does Alyssa do?
In addition to pour paintings and fine art, Alyssa has experience in: murals, portraits (people and pets), crocheting (dolls, baby blankets, stuffed animals), wood burning, cake making, graphic design (invitations, posters, magazines and any type of printwork), custom logos, and much more! Alyssa is a “Jill of All Trades” so if there is something artsy that you need done, just ask!
Tips Before Purchasing Artwork
All artwork is sold as is. Alyssa tries her best to accurately photograph her work, however the tone and color can vary when viewing her paintings on a screen or monitor. Please feel free to ask Alyssa to send more photos, videos or even Facetime/Skype so you can view the painting you are interested in prior to purchase. Muralwork, crocheted items, wood burnings and cakes have varying timelines of completion. Alyssa will discuss your needs and work with your schedule to get your custom piece completed and returned to you on time to the best of her ability! Custom orders are taken in the order that they have been received. Please keep in mind that if Alyssa receives numerous orders at one time (especially close to the holidays), it may take longer for your order to be completed. What is your shipping policy?
There are three ways to receive your painting:
Shipped* - The painting will be wrapped in padding and then packaged in a box or packaging paper. The post office will be notified that the package is fragile and should be handled with care. If the customer is concerned about the painting arriving damaged, they may choose to purchase insurance on the painting prior to shipping. Alyssa assumes no responsibility for paintings damaged during shipping.
Delivered - Alyssa (or an associate) will deliver any painting up to 50 miles from the zipcode 06824. A gas fee may apply.
Picked up in Person - Anyone who wishes to pick up their painting can arrange a pickup time and date with Alyssa.
